Young Scientist Series

Twice a month, year-round, on Friday from 1pm – 3pm, and Saturday from either 10:30am – 12:30pm, or 1-3pm, our staff lead an exploration of science for young children and their families!

Every session focuses on a new theme/topic (see past examples below) and includes hands on-activities & experiments, crafts, nature hikes, demonstrations, games, stories and much more!

Children of all ages are welcome though activities are generally geared towards ages 3 to 10. Parents must remain with their children for the length of the program.

Don’t forget to log your sessions in your free Manuels River Logbook so that you can earn certificates and fun prizes along the way!

Young Scientist programming is $7.00/person or included with Family Membership.

Current dates and themes for Young Scientist are posted on our What’s On page
