Young Scientist Series

We are so happy to again offer our Young Scientist Series 2016 – 2017 funded by United Way! Twice a month, year-round, on Friday from 1pm – 3pm, Saturday from either 10:30am – 12:30pm or 1-3pm, and Sunday from either 10:30am – 12:30pm or 1pm – 3pm, our staff lead an exploration of science for young children and their families!

Every session focuses on a new theme/topic (see past examples below) and includes hands on-activities, crafts, nature hikes, demonstrations, stories and much more!

Children of all ages are welcome though activities are generally geared towards ages 3 to 10. Parents must remain with their children for the length of the program.

Don’t forget to log your sessions in your free Manuels River Logbook so that you can earn certificates and fun prizes along the way!

Thanks to United Way, Young Scientist programming is once again included with the cost of  admission and with Family Membership.

Current dates and themes for Young Scientist are posted on our What’s On page
